New Intercontinental Hotel in the Douro

The Intercontinental Hotel Group, in partnership with Solitaire Hotels, is considering opening a new unit  in the Douro region. At about month and a half before the opening of its first five-star hotel in Portugal - Porto Palace Intercontinental Cardosas - the group now wants to create a hotel in the Douro region, seen  as a prime tourist destination in the northern area of Portugal.
