Troia Golf Championship Course has been named one of the Europe Top 20 by by British magazine "Golf World" in a an upcoming issue. The course is located on the Troia Peninsula, in the Sado Estuary, just south of Lisbon. In this scenic location at the tip of a peninsula, lies one of the most fascinating and challenging golf course in Portugal, the course designed by architect Robert Trent Jones Senior. There is a Clubhouse, constructed in rustic style, nestling in a pine grove, with full facilities, a bar and restaurant with terrace overlooking several holes of the course and miles of sandy beach. Accommodation is available on site at the Troia Resort, owned and operated by Sonae Turismo, who also operates the golf course, with a variety of leisure and dining facilities.
